: Dear Brothers and Sisters,
: While reading the Bible, I came upon a story which strengthened my faith in Islam even more.
: Some people who all spoke one language were trying to build a tower to see God and then God cursed them by making them all speak a different language. This tower is now called the "Tower of Babylon" {Genesis 11:19}
You have once again convieniently misquoted;
Ge 11:1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech...
Not SOME as you say
Ge 11:7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
: The Koran is their forgiveness, if the humans return to obeying Allah, then they are again united in a brotherhood and sisterhood of 1 sematic language, Arabic.
Seems odd that God decided that we should speak different languages and then (as you believe) want us to do the opposite and speak one language again.
: This is astonishing since only 27% of the Muslims are from the Middle East and there are almost 1.5 Billion Muslims world wide, all united with one language, praying in unison, re-united.
You do love statistics don't you? How many Christians are from Jerusalem? If all these Christians are saying the lords prayer in different languages what does it matter? The meaning is the same. Does God only understand Arabic? I think not. In my experience as an ex-Muslim there are in fact slightly different dialects of the prayer rights, which for all intents and purposes amount to a different language or at least a variation.
: "For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent." {Zephaniah 3:9}
You have taken this verse out of context to support your argument, the chapter is in reference to The sin, redemption, and future of Jerusalem.
'Pure language' does not necessarily mean Arabic or Aramaic. We can use language to commit sin and to avoid this we would have to speak only pure language, that is language or at least speech that contains no cursing or maligning words. The verse also does not say 'I will turn to the people WITH a pure language' It says 'I will turn to the people A pure language.
Henry's commentary on this says;
The purifying doctrines of the gospel, or the pure language of the grace of the Lord, would teach men to use the language of humility, repentance, and faith. Purity and piety in common conversation is good. - No mention of Arabic here
