I kindly asked you to give me verses and you just give more slander, where in the Islamic teachings are we told to be drawn away from Jesus, esspecially since we believe he will
come back for us, again, kindly support your claims.
Romans 10:9
because, if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Philippians 2:11
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
1 John 4:3
and every spirit which does not confess Jesus, is not of God. This is the spirit of antichrist, of which you heard that it was coming, and now it is in the world already.

[al-Baqarah 2:136.28] Say ye: "We believe in God, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the
Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no difference between one and
another of them: And we bow to God (in Islam)."
[Al-Imran 3:84.33] Say: "We believe in God, and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac,
Jacob, and the Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between
one and another among them, and to God do we bow our will (in Islam)."
My take on these is that the Quran does not call Jesus Christ Lord here - he is the same
as any common prophet.
Yet:
[Al-Imran 3:55.5] Behold! God said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who
blaspheme;I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return unto
me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute.
This tells me that even the Quran acknowledges that Jesus was more than just Moses and
the other prophets......You must be able to see where the person not brought up in the
Islamic faith can get confused?
[an-Nisa' 4:171.21] O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of God aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the
son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of God, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so
believe in God and His apostles. Say not "Trinity" : desist: it will be better for you: for God is one God: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is
He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is God as a Disposer of affairs.
And again, Jesus' Lordship is denied Him.
Does the Muslim proclaim Jesus Christ is Lord????
because the eariest books in Christianity, the Book of Acts 3:13
Minor correction here - earliest books are now said to be Mark or Matthew.....I havent
got my research notes here, but we could start up another thread on this if you would
like - I'll be home on the weekend - I should have enough time to unpack, do laundry,
write a blurb or two for you and repack ;-))
