: In logic as well as in law historical precedent means that the burden of proof rest on any and all new claims to truth. That which is accepted as truth test any new claim to truth. Therefore, since Islam follows Christianity the Muslim must first make a convincing case for the truth claims of Islam (Allah is God, the Koran is the word of God etc.).

Dear Brother Mike,

Hi, You may be interested in what Christians and atheists say:

http://wings.buffalo.edu/sa/muslim/library/jesus-say/ch13.html

concerning proof of the Divinity of the Qur'an.

You ask if Allah is God, this is like asking if Theo is God the answer to both is Yes, Allah is the Arabic word for God as Theo is the Greek word for God, since Jesus was a Middle Easterner and certainly not Greek, the Arabic Bible says Allah is God. It is said that 'God' is a German word but I have not looked it up.

As far as Islam 'following' Christianity, this is a inacurate statement, would you agree that the Christians are following the Jews? We All follow the Will of Allah, research and study will clarify.

Feel free to give any comments:

Peace and Blessings,
Your brother in Islam: Mohamed
