M:You may be interested in what Christians and atheists say:

concerning proof of the Divinity of the Qur'an.
Mike:I have read through the arguments referred to above and find them to be a classic example of circular reasoning. You are simply trying to prove the Qur'an by the Qur'an. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that if you assume divine authorship for the Qur'an you will reach the conclusion that the Qur'an is divinely inspired. Your reasoning ends where it began. Therefore you have yet to prove your assertion. Also in reference to the so called scientific proofs for the Qur'an I would first note that I have seen plenty of literature refuting these assertions see http://www.answering-islam.org/Science/embryo.html, but even if there are scientific facts in the Qur'an if one error is found then that error would refute the entire claim of divine inspiration for the Qur'an see: http://www.answering-islam.org/Science/index.html
M: You ask if Allah is God,
Mike:I did not ask any questions in my post. It is simply that your circular arguments above are begging the question, How do you know Allah is the one true universal God?
M:As far as Islam 'following' Christianity, this is a inaccurate statement, would you agree that the Christians are following the Jews?
Mike:By following I mean the common sense understanding of the term as a sequence of events. Christianity (not Christians as you wrote) follows Judaism. I challange you to bring forth a single Muslim who does not claim that Islam is God's third revelation following Judaism and Christianity. Therefore, in any and all Muslim-Christian dialogues the Muslim most first prove their truth claims. This is a point you have dodged so far.
This takes us to a larger question I would like to ask you, How do you know that Christians and Muslims worship the same God? Make your case.
Peace and Blessings,
Mike
