I have been reading the Koran for the first time (about 1/3 of the way through) and would like to know more about Islam and how it deals with "Christian" issues. (salvation, sin and separation from God, perfect and holy God, atonement, etc) Any recommendations?

And to fair to the Christians (of which I used to be one) what reasons do you have for saying the Koran is not the perfect word of God? (other than you feel the bible is the only one... ie what is wrong with the koran?)
