Dear Brother Jochen,
Hi, Welcome back :-)

In your refrence site a quater of the way down in Matthew 1;
the question was:
__________________________________
4.So, how does Joseph 'step into' Mary's lineage? How does he 'pick up' her legal heritage?

The site answers;

Probably through the law of levirate marriage. The Jewish folk had numerous provisions for cases of inheritance-transfer in extreme cases. One of the more frequent situations that had to be covered (in a land-based, clan-ownership system) was that of childless marriages, or in some cases, of son-less marriages.

If this was a extreme case of transfer of inheritance, why then is it not mentioned anywhere, the scribes go into detail about who the decendants are but don't mention this transfer of family member names?

This is a classic example of how Christians add events that never took place and are not recorded anywhere in order to cover up a apparent contradiction.

None of the Gospels mention a transfer of inheratance which would be something to mention when talking about Jesus, but it is not, it is only added by commentators to cover up the human tampering in the Bible.

Another question and answer on your refrence site 3/4 of the way down is;

Was Jesus' grandfather on Joseph's side Jacob (Matthew 1:16) or Eli (Luke 3:23)? The answer is "YES"! In the levirate situation described above he would have TWO 'grandfathers'.

According to this logic, then Jesus would have 4 (Great Grand Fathers) 8 (Great, Great Grand Fathers), and 16 (Great, Great, Great Grand Fathers).

Why then is it only when it is 2 Grandfathers do the Gospels contradict each other?

Wouldn't it be more logical that there would be a contradiction when there is 16 (Great, Great, Great Grand Fathers) rather than only 2 Grandfathers.

Another example on how Christian commentators use a form of logic without aplying it to reality.

According to their logic, because Jesus had 2 grandfathers, then that is why 2 different names are used, and yet when there are 16 different people to choose from, no contradiction is made?

For Example: While running, I was not able to jump over two hurdles, but I was able to jump over 16 hurdles.

Faultly logic, Why do you brother Jochen, futilely try to deny the tensions in the Bible and futiley try to create a tension in the Qur'an?

May Allah Guide you to Truth.

Peace and Blessings,
Your Brother in Islam: Mohamed
