Dear brother Jochen,
You wrote;
{My mathbook doesn't have any contradictions either. Does it make
that divine?}
If your math book was written over 1,400 years ago, and predicted mathmatical scientific facts recently discovered, and is verified by Christian scientists to be true, then it supports divine authorship
{The Bible has been written over 1600 years by many different
human writers, and even in different cultures. Just look how much
America has changed in the last 50 years. 1600 years certainly
have changed culture for the Israelites as well. So, we would expect
that there are "rough edges" in the Bible, just because of the many
different circumstances and places and times it was written.}
Are you admitting the Bible has contradictions/tensions, if so, why are you still following it. Do you encourage others to follow what you see as unreliable.
{Anyway, you welcome to have a look what I personally found in
contradictions in the Qur'an, On the other hand, I don't think
these are the strongest reasons to reject the Qur'an.}

{My personal reasons why I don't think the Qur'an is valid as divine revelations I have written up in this place: Why I am not a Muslim.}
I will give my sincere response to this when the time permits as it contains quite a few links.
Peace and Blessings,
Your Brother in Islam: Mohamed
