You asked:
Did I say that we are basically saying the same?
You did ;-). You said: It is factual
that
you confirm what I wrote. Let's look:
I say:
Anyhow, what I wanted to know is what Christianity, e.g. the Bible says about the
responsibility of a person, to check what he is teaching about religion, before he states
things. Sorry, if it hasn`t been clear.
The matter might have been discussed exhaustvely. Anyhow I also reread Your last reply
and I`d like to comment on two points.
1st: The story about the catholic parent, who did not raise his child Catholic did happen in
Germany.
2nd. I did never talk about converts from Islam to Christianity, that do have to beg for
assylum in the West. I did just mention Christian missionaries, who focus on Muslim
immigrants in the West.
I got the following info from the net:
Richard and Cindy Bailey
Currently Serving In:
New York, USA
Organization:
International Missions Inc. (IMI)
Ministry Summary:
Evangelism with Muslims in New York City
Ministry:
Dick and Cindy, who had previously served as missionaries among Muslims in Pakistan,
France and Central African Republic,
are involved in planting churches among the first generation Pakistani Muslim immigrants
in the greater new York City (NYC)
metropolitan area. About 150,000 Pakistani Muslims are know to be living in this area,
and no one else is targeting them at this
time. Dick is currently the Department Superintendent of IMI's North America field.
Prayer Needs:
Pray for these recent Pakistani Muslim converts in the NYC area that they will gather
together more frequently for fellowship
and, in addition, will also reach out to their unsaved relatives and friends. Pray for other
IMI-North America missionaries as
they too are involved in reaching out to and planting churches among first generation
immigrants of various religious and ethnic
backgrounds. Pray that many churches in North America will catch this vision of reaching
first generation immigrants in this
country. Pray also for more workers to reach the many unreached groups of new
immigrants in North America.
