I cannot speak for anyone else, but I see the bible as corrupted text also. This does not mean that everything in it is wrong. It means that men have added or taken away text to jusify themselves and their goals. I see a lot of similaries in different religions and currently base my faith in God on the similarities... ie I look past the statements that are not backed up elsewhere.
