Ahmadiyya’s booklet REVIEW OF RELIGIONS

Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, Was he the prophesied Messiah of the Bible?

We find some claims in this booklet in the section “The second Advent of Jesus” that the Messiah Jesus has already come by Dr Aziza Rahman!

We find this claim very artificial and superficial when we read further into the text which states:

(The text of the booklet is in Itlaic)

Most people who await Jesus’s return believe that he will descend physically in his own body from heaven and yet, all the signs indicate that the time is right no one has seen him.  Why does he not come?  Why does God not send him when the world is in such a dire need of him.

The answer to this is very simple.  God has sent him; but he has sent him in a manner that few had the foresight and wisdom to understand.

He further goes on to claim that the Messiah Jesus would not be himself the Jesus who lived two thousand years ago, but another person who would come in the likeness of Jesus.  He then goes on to quote II Kings 2:11 Elijah/Elias ascended into heaven in a chariot drawn by horses and the Jews were expecting his return to earth which would precede the coming of the Messiah promised to them.

Our answer:

There are a lot of claims made in the above short paragraph.

When we look at the Bible and investigate further we find problems with this at all levels.

First the Bible does not state that the return of Jesus to earth would be in a human birth for  Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was born of a normal birth.

The Bible states in Matthew 24:29-30

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Jesus Christ is to come riding in the clouds with great glory therefore not born as stated by Ahmadiyyas incorrectly.

In Zechariah 14:2-4 we read

14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

14:3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Zechariah 14:2 speaks of a future prophecy which has still to be fulfilled.

Clearly one can see that this prophecy has not been fulfilled before the Messiah Jesus will return and that he will descend from heaven!

It is also preposterous to suggest that Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was the Messiah as Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad is dead and did not fulfil any bit of these prophecies for the Messiah will come and setup the Messianic Kingdom and there is no physical death.

Ø      Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad is dead.

Ø      Could not save anyone in Jerusalem.

Ø      He was born of a normal birth and did not descend from heaven in his full glory.

Ø      He was not divine in anyway whatsoever.

The author of the booklet further goes to state various claims of Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad being Messiah because of him doing miracles.

Now if the Hindu gurus do better miracles then should they also to be considered Messiahs?

The precondition of the Messiah Jesus is not performing great Miracles but prophecy fulfilment which remain to be fulfilled at a future undefined time.

The author Dr Aziza Rahman claims that “in 1984, shortly after Hadhrat Ahmad had declared himself the Messiah, Jesus himself predicted that his second coming would be heralded by the falling of stars (Matt 24:29:30).  This occurred in November 1833, when thousand of meteorites were seen in the sky”.

As the author does not seem to know the Bible very well or Bible prophecy for that we would like to advise her to read the Bible once more.

The Bible text in Matt 24:29 says Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven”.

The tribulation is still to come as the outpouring of the divine wrath stated in Bowl Judgements of Revelation 16 followed by his subsequent appearance in Rev 19 and 20.

Rev 19:11-21 and Rev 20:1-2

19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

19:17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

19:18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Several key questions are begged to be asked of this person claiming to be the Messiah Jesus of Nazareth!!!

Ø      Did he come on a white horse with His angels?

Ø      Were his eyes as a flame of fire?

Ø      Did he have the name of the Word of God? (only attributed to God)

Ø      Did he slay the Anti-Christ into the pit of Fire?

Ø      Did he cast Satan in the pit for a 1000 years?

The answer to all these questions is a blunt NO!!!

If Satan was in the pit then we would not have the problems we are having today as he is still the prince of the world and fully loose.

So far from this short study we can see that this Person Hadhrat Ahmad was not only a false Messiah according to the Bible but an impostor pretending to be the Messiah Jesus of Nazareth.

Now the intelligent reader can make his own mind up whether this Ahmadiyya is another sect to fool the true believers of Jesus of Nazareth into thinking that Hadhrat Ahmad was a Messiah for he fulfils no prophecy of the Bible whatsoever.

Matthew 24:24-25

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Behold, I have told you before.

The following are some of the quotes on which Ahmadiyya's place their faith...

This is what they believes in...

"Like Aboo Hurayrah who was dull and did not possess good
understanding/knowledge." (Roohaani ]Khazaa'in, Page 127, Vol. 19, Mirza Ghulam)

"Leave the dispute of the old caliphate; accept the new caliphate. A living Ali is present amongst you; you are leaving him and looking for the dead Ali." (Malfoozaate Ahmadiyyah, Page 142, Vol. 2, Mirza Ghulam)

"What were Aboo Bakr and Umar? They were not even fit to open the shoelaces of Hadhrat Ghulam Ahmad." (Monthly Al Mahdi, January-February, 1915) "Faatimah radhiyallahu anhaa, in a visionary state, placed my head on her thigh and showed me that I am from it." (Roohaani Khazaa'in

... believes that the words of Mirza are equal to Qur'aan

"Whatever I hear through Allah's revelation, by Allah, I believe it to be pure from every mistake. My revelation is pure from mistakes like the Qur'aan. This is my faith . By Allah, it is noble word from the mouth of God, the one only." (Roohaani Khazaa'in, Page 477, Vol. 18, Mirza Ghulam)

... claims divinity for Mirza Ghulam Ahmad

"I (Mirza) saw in a dream that I am God. I have believed that I am God." (Roohaani Khazaa'in, Page 564, Vol. 5, Mirza Ghulam)

... declares all non-Qaadiyaanis as nonbelievers
