The "Muslim-Christian Dialogue" mailing list has now been up and running for a while.
There is a certain amount of interaction between Muslims and Christians on the Muslim and Christian newsgroups but people from both groups often feel hampered by the need for their posting to be relevant to the strict terms of the specific newsgroup.
It is our hope that this forum will provide a place where Christians and Muslims can meaningfully discuss the issues important to them, and by listening to each other reach a deeper mutual understanding.

Please note: If you join MCD, you will receive between 20 and 60 emails per day - do not subscribe if you cannot cope with this volume of email. Anything you post to MCD will appear on the public archive. If you attempt to subscribe someone else to this list, we will track your i/p address and forward details of the abuse to your ISP.
Please note: A small minority of subscribers attempt to join the list using an email address that is a forwarding address to another list (usually at e-groups.com). We will not accept applications from certain forwarding-services (e.g. mail.com, bigfoot.com, india.com etc). If you try to subscribe under one of these domains, we will simply ignore your application and no acknowledgement will be sent. We log all i/p addresses of users of this form and repeated attempts to abuse this list with false subscriptions will result in your ISP receiving an official log of your attempts.......
